Something I heard somewhere way back when, anyway try disconnecting the clock, there is one "slip together" connection if you can reach back up under the dash, don't know if there is enough room. You would have to wrap the end of the wire to protect it from shorting as it will, of course, be hot and make sure its dead while disconnecting. I remember something about the clock causing a "flat battery", might be worth a look see. Good Luck
