From your pics, there is a possibility of a 315 to 303 tail swap because the housing shapes are the same. The oil jet may still be an issue.
I think this is intriguing if you can provide the serial number of this trans, I may be able to tell of production date.
I'll see if I can dig it out later on today. I have a gut feeling it is an early one because there isn't so much plastic in it like the later 722.4s - I've seen pictures of later 722.3s that seem to have as much plastic parts and 722.4s...
