There's no problem using an insertion tube for oil extraction, it works very well.

I've used a Temp Oil Boy for at least 15 years. Simple and durable. It has two tubes, I use one for oil and the other for transmission fluid. Unfortunately, now unavailable. Mityvac seems to be making a copy of the Tempo product as their "MV7400 Fluid Extractor":

The trick with these devices is storage: the tubes will oooze oil for months after use. The way I solved this was to get a length of copper pipe and solder a cap to the end. I clip this upright to the wall, and use it as a scabbard. With the Tempo, this is and easy process because the hoses are designed to be detached with a pull, and break into four foot sections. I think storage would be a problem with several of the units you've pictured. The Astro unit looks good, and seems to have a hose storage bin built-in.
