Still kinda bummed my parents sold their downriver boat several years ago, while my mom was still alive, to buy a camper and start traveling (not too selfish, am I?
). My dad still has an 18' to play around on the river with but it's not exactly the best option for cruising to Montauk or Block Island. OTOH it's not worth the hassle of dealing with him about everything to bother using it anyway.
