YES.... there are several threads in the archives where people did a really SNAP UP job on this AND posted great instructions....

You DO NOT want the pressure on the actual bumper... due to the way it is constructed with regards to movement in a small accident....to build it correctly... ( according to me ) entails two pieces of metal bent to go around the outside and the inside of the spare tire cavity... and riveted together.. then you could weld to the outer one to go to your hitch.

I am sure this is not what you wanted to hear.... a real pain to do it correctly ( according to me and the people in the archives who posted such good info ..)
