on my 87 300td, the exhaust points towards the driver's side at a good enough angle to get the people that go 55 in the left lane of the highway. roll past the prick, let it coast so there is no boost, then floor it to kickdown and without an alda and the 3.5L om603 pump, it lays a nice thick cloud until the turbo catches up i always wonder if it smells bad if their not on recirculate same theory for tailgaters in town and works better. just let it coast until it up- shifts as much as it can and floor it
