UH... that is what I have been trying to say... but I am getting push back....

He acts like his car has an intercooler.... using hot engine radiator coolant to ' cool' the transmission fluid..... My wagon had a transcooler on the side of the radiator where Actual Transmission fluid went into and out of ... to get cooled by the passage of air....

We need pictures of this special intercooler ...LOL

EDIT... here is why I was skeptical of the immersed nature of the transmission cooler....that its minimum operating temperature is going to be too high..
AND for those of you that know the recommended change out mileage I think that confirms that this is not a good design.... the trans should have an air exchange trans fluid radiator..
