European Headlight Wiring - Left Headlight Out

Trying to convert back to the European lights and nothing going right.

Big issue was the A/C hoses going to the drier were in the way.

Then had to use the Depo crap again as no bread for Hella units. Besides, had two shipped and broken to bits, no refund possible. (Can we say ouch?) Got so peeved at the fit, fixed it with a box knife. Das ist alles!

Never checked if the lights were working correct, only drove once at night and very dim. But, since never experienced U.S. headlights, can't or couldn't tell something not right.

On high beam, got half of the left, half of fog, and full right. All bulbs are good.

Get out the volt meter, turn on just the headlights, and get 12 volts at low beams, even with the high beams on, both sides.

Also, at the fog light, when in the off position, get 6 volts.

When fog lights on, 12 volts.

Was in the process of hooking up the city lights. With the Frankfort market wiring, colors match none of the diagrams. Have one spliced wire on each side, so by cutting the splice, found it for the running lights.

So, do the city lights run anytime the headlights are on?

Thank you so very much for any help!
