FWIW, I have dogs and flat refuse to let them roam out side my well fenced property .
Other neighbors are feeding the coyotes and then complaining that snowball winds up as coyote lunch .
They're unafraid of humans and walk the streets in broad daylight now .

I never bought one but I liked the Super Squitter idea for getting rid of stray Cats (I don't want to feed any more Cats then I already do and I don't want mine injured in a fight.)
I don't believe in feeding a whole bunch of strays as they reproduce way faster then I imagined. Some people live trap the Strays and go to places where they will fix a limited number of them and then release them after they are fixed. The clip a piece off of the tip of one ear to show they have been fixed.
Getting back to the feeding strays issue. The local County Hospital has a big grounds. I walked by in part of their facility and there was a huge pan of food and like 30 Cats eating from it. That sort of thing must have yielded a huge crop of babies. I like Cats but when the remodeled a lot of the buildings the did away with the Cat feeding.
I went to the local Animal Shelter to get a Cat and was told I could not have one because I put on the Form the it would be an inside outside Cat. Their claim was Coyotes.
There is a map of the Coyote Pet killings and there is none on my side of the River. Over on the richer side of the river there was some (pets must be better fed and therefore tastier over there).
On 2 occasions early in the morning on the weekends on 2 separate occasions I have seen solitary Coyotes walking around in the Industrial area 1/4 mile away. I have never seen any in my neighborhood.
The Streets are more narrow on this side of the River and there is Allies and the Population density is more and lots of people own Dogs here. Lots of places that only take a shot run and or jump for Cats to escape to.
Started off one Cat and years later 4 were born under my House. One was a loner and liked to find stuff in the middle of the road to roll around on and got here head run over and the only Male got bit by something and while his wound healed fine and after a $700 vet bill he died anyway.
The first Cat died of cancer leaving me with 2 sisters. At night the 2 Sisters seem to mostly roam around together and I believe that helps keep them safer then if they were alone. If one runs the other automatically runs also.
