What for?? With Rev Match there's no guesswork involved, and no excessive suspension and clutch wear. Rev Match is the greatest thing since synchro and 4-wheel disc/ABS brakes. If your car does not have it, I would understand the foreign nature of using it. Since downshifting does unnecessary wear on the car I rarely ever use it. BTW, Rev Match works up shifting as well. And if you're not in the know, the C7 M7 RevMatch is optional to engage. Just as TC is. FWIW, the C7 does overpower TC, even when engaged. Ask me how I know....
