Chuck, the 1990 IMSA CODE competition rulebook has the international sedan eligibility list on page 52. It lists the 190 2.3 min weight at 2550.The 190 2.6 min weight is listed at2325! Yes, that is correct,IMSA listed the 2.6 at a lighter weight than the 2.3. Probably because Rick Hurst in oklahoma was campaigning a 2.3 16-valve back then. If that doesn't convince them (national), I have the 1997 SCCA PRO RACING world challenge appendix A (touring 2 class) eligibility list and it has all mercedes 190's at 2550/with driver! This is a document direct from scca pro racing series! I can scan and e-mail copies if you want them. Please, please write national too. By now they must be starting to notice that there is more than one or two 190 competitors in the club! Maybe someone with good writing skills can make one letter for national that we all can sign and put our membership #'s on?
