What a pisser! So close to being done.

I had my 380 SL back on the road less than a week, when the chain jumped a tooth and whacked all the valves on the left side.

I told my wife, complaining about having to pull the head, and her response was "Well, that's good isn't it? Isn't that what you like to do, work on cars?" So I thought about that for a minute, ordered the gaskets and got going on pulling the head.

At least it didn't leave you (or worse, your wife) stranded somewhere.
