Yes, highly likely, especially if these caps are on the older, brittle side. I'm going to order brand new caps and attempt again to pressure bleed. From what I've read on the internet, if there is a leak at the cap(s), replace and try again.

I'm still trying to find out of there should be springs under BOTH caps. Any insight?
