Does any know of an oil pump chain for a 617 that has a master link.

All I have seen is a full chain which requires removal of the oil pump sproket from the crankshaft or, possibly, lowering the upper oil pan.

I do not want to do these, if they can be avoided.

My father in law broke the timing chain, or the oil pump chain which took out the timing chain. I have gotten it apart (I've had my 601 apart a couple of times just for kicks). I cannot get the oil pump chain on the crank sproket and the manual calls for "drastic" solutions.

HELP!!!!!!!
