Hi Folks, I have a 84 300D and have a weak vacum pump. Can I rebuild the pump in the car and if not any suggestion are more than welcome on getting the pump off of the engine. I did this job on my 300sd and it was a bear geting the pump off of the engine. I looks to be that there are screws on a cover plate and do I do the rebuild from that side of the pump. As you can guess I am working with out a manual. Thanks in advance
I do have one more question and that concerns the master cylinder,. What are the two round buttons for on the top of the brake fluid resivour for? They seem to have a pump action to them. Thanks again.
