The IFS is the best feature of this vehicle and wouldnt trade it for anything. I also have a Nissan Patrol with live axle front and compared to that, the Gurkha is a blessing. Wouldnt worry too much about the exhaust as neither off road mag nor myself have had any issues with it scraping or getting damaged, when it does, there is a factory mod available using flexible tubes.
