Nothing is too old when it comes to Mercedes...I won't call it OLD, but Classics. You need to have "Class" to appreciate one...
Anyways, the eye-brow is very thin(like those GTS headlight covers), therefore, even if it does affect the drag coefficient, it's not noticable. Only thing I can think of is that the eye-brows are not correctly attached to the headlight lenses, and fly off when you are cruising at 120mph..
