More rear. What your looking at is the track rod going into the track rod mount. Forn top to bottom, the horizontal units are the brake line, the ABS sensor wire, the track rod and the bottom horizontal unit is the steering linkage, called the tie rod.
The trackrod is going into the track rod mount and bushing set up which is blocked by the plastic cover.
