Reg. compression tester goes to 300lb. Deisel go to 500lb. If you use a regular on a deisel you will explode the gauge. just too much pressure. Plus you need the special adapters for deisel. Some rental yards have them. But alot of these are beat to heck. I beleive I paid $75 or $100 with all the adapters.
