Sounds like the infamous turbo oil drain tube leak. Very, very common problem. Poor design, actually, that was fixed on later (OM60x series) turbo engines from 1986-up. Parts are cheap, but it will take probably 3-6 hours to repair. There are a couple different methods, my preferred method involves removing the turbocharger (easier than it sounds). Fun, huh?
