Question Was there a difference in California with the 1984 300SD?
I've done a couple of searches and looked in a puff-piece book I've got on MB and haven't found a definitive answer. It looks like the California smog control and the trap oxidizer only became an issue in 1985.

Anyone know about 1984? I've got a BIL in So Cal who has offered to keep an eye out for a twin sis. to Hilda. I'd like to have an identical car...to make my life easy.

What about the diff. between 83 and 84?
