Any advice on an upgrade of the stock speakers for a 92 300TE?

I would like to upgrade but am concerned about keeping the original openings.

Noticed comments about MB Quart. Are there other solutions?

Must one be careful about stock crossovers, power consumption, etc.

By the way, my listening runs from Classical to Jazz to Blues to Hendrix.
