As mentioned previously, I purchased a 1983 300d, turbo with 123,000 miles.

Service records and previous owner states that he has always used Castrol GTX 10w40, summer and winter. The engine is tight and it doesn't miss a beat.

My question is, is there any reason to change. It's worked so far.
