I have a king sized Tempurpedic mattress that was purchased as a "set" along with their box springs and 2 extra large tempur pillows. I've owned it 2 years and absolutely love it. It is a bit warm sometimes, but aside from that, it's a great mattress.

Prior to purchasing it, I looked into the "Sleep Number" bed among others. The price of the Tempur as a bit more, but has been worth it in the long run. Brookstone's price on the king set with the pillows was just under $2000 whereas the Sleep Number bed was about $1700 (without pillows).

I had one of those SOMMA mattresses before the Tempur. It looked like a standard pillowtop mattress on the outside, but actually had water cylinders that were adjustable for firmness. That was okay, but after a serious car accident, I started having lower back problems. The Tempur was recommended by one of my therapists and I certainly haven't regretted the purchase.
