What is it with the 84's? I know this problem is not exclusive to the 84's, but here is 3 of us on this post with 84's having similar problems. I don't feel ready to tackle the ip timing myself so I called an indy and asked if he would do it. His reply was that he would check the timing, but he wouldn't do this first as he didn't think it would solve the problem. So... I'm just going to let him spend a little time diagnosing the problem this Friday and wil report back his findings for my situation.

throttle linkage
banjo bolt
alda
pump timing
