A fellow off the mercedes veteran's list, who also happens to be the son of a machinist has been selling spacers for the past few months from
www.mbz.org. You can check along the bottom of the page. There's a write up there someplace. No clue if they are for your car.
There are some discussion points about making spacers, namely how should the threaded portions be set up, that kind of thing. One doesn't trust ones life to threaded aluminum with a steel bolt.
