my $0.02 worth:
i THINK the snap-on will read chassis codes too, which the generic obd ii units dont (engine and powertrain only). i have a buddy who is the snap on distributor for this area, but i never get 'deals' from him. wish i lived closer to you and might offer to split the cost of the snap on unit.
