I suppose it would be good to put one of those little trickle chargers on the battery to keep it fully charged too.

Oh, some mouse poison wouldn't be a bad a idea either.... don't want the little critters working on your wiring. I would put 3-4 packs scattered around the car.... under hood, trunk, cabin.....
