All I did was top it off with ATFand within 5 days the pump was leaking. Couldn't have been much more than 1/4 cup. 6 days after I put ATF in I flushed the system [following directions I got from this forum] and removed my pump. It was not run 500 miles with ATF so I hope the shaft is ok. i will for sure check it though.
