If the pain is on the outside of your elbow, where the tendon meets the bone, then chances are you have a tennis elbow.

Excellent site, worth a read. If it is tennis elbow then it is bad news. I have it since April, from playing badminton of all things. I will get cortizone injection on Friday, hopefully it will help. A couple of years ago I missed the whole summer season of playing tennis because of it. It is very annoying. There really is no cure for it, I just red an article about a study in Europe and the long term (12 months) results were the same for people who took anti-inflammatory medications and for those who took cortizone shots. I have been taking medication for weeks but the pain is still present although it is somewhat muted. But still no badminton or tennis in sight.
