If you are supposed to use DOT approved lights.... and you don't... you are taking UNnecessary chances.... that goes for anything which is mandated by law...
You suggested others install those type lights WITHOUT stating the warning that even the web site knew to post...
Otherwise I would not have needed to post anythnig about this.
