Gilly, I just bought the car from an auction. First thing radio did was emit a high pitched constant volume tone. Then it asked for the code. I imagine the battery died during the period in which the previous owner turned it in and my assumption of ownership.

Any idea why the system would need SDS diagnosis or why the changer orientation might be a variable for investigation at this point? Also, how do you change orientation? Is this a mechanical or electronic procedure?
