I am having Steve do the Command install on my 2000 E430 at the end of this month in Huntington Beach.

I have done a little research on the Command system, so I am not an expert, but from what little I know, it is no different than your current radio, in that it controls a CD changer, the hands-free phone, and the regular radio functions.

You can have your cake and eat it too, i.e. you get a navigation system as well as hands free phone.
