Delvac 1 5w-40 is probably the best diesel oil on the market. Their is no reason to run a thicker synthetic in hotter temps, 5w-40 should be just fine in 100+ degree weather.


Btw a lot of the new cars on the market are changing to 5w-20 and 0w-20.
