this is what you should do, and it's how some of us who have been there can help. Before I built my own house, I began a "stupid question asking campaign" that lasted for 2-3 YEARS before I actually started. The results of how this method worked will stand proudly for many years after I'm gone. Remember, ignorance can be fixed, stupid is forever.
