Ive worked on cars before, minimal work, but never a diesel, so i ask LOTS of questions, because its a lot diffrent as far as im concerned. So, when you see these "stupid" people, maybe you should think about it diffrently.
this is what you should do, and it's how some of us who have been there can help. Before I built my own house, I began a "stupid question asking campaign" that lasted for 2-3 YEARS before I actually started. The results of how this method worked will stand proudly for many years after I'm gone. Remember, ignorance can be fixed, stupid is forever.

thats what i have been doing, and i always leave the "please no mean replys" line in there. Cause i know some of the questions im asking are stupid to people who know about MB. I got mine with a lawsuit that I won, and ill be honest, it was pretty and i wanted it. Ive abused it for 2 + years, and now i need to shape up and take care of it. I also am afraid to screw up, cause I know i cant afford to take it in to get my mistakes fixed. Im still aprehensive about doing an oil change. But yeah, Ill get to it, and when I do Ill be secure in my thoughts that I can do it, because I know EVERY single detail.
(i dont only post stupid questions, i search the internet, i call mechanics, i talk to the people in the auto parts shops).

I never said anything about stupid questions. I don't think there are any stupid questions. I would rather read and answer 100 threads about "how do I change my oil" rather than "my color is better than yours" or "do you think my car is shiny enough" or "boohoo am I paying too much for someone to change my oil"
