My 83 300TD is drowning need help.

Hi Guys,

I searched the different forums here and yet I can't solve the problem of leaking water to the passenger behind the driver seat.

I temporarily covered the sunroof and the water is still pouring in.
Looked into the draining plugs yet I'm not sure that I got them all.
It is not leaking from the rear window as I removed the carpet to check.
Of course I removed the carpets out to dry out (I don't have the carpet there for more than 5 weeks now.

Upon removal of the cover of the beam that supports the left passenger door I couldn't find any leak from the beam. Today I found a nice little puddle in the back :-( (it's raining really heavily in Marin County). So I hade to find the source, I spent about an hour inside and I think that I know where the water is coming from, the problem is I don't know how to block it.

Under the passenger feet there is the plastic cover that covers the different vacuum hoses and electric cables. It seems as if the water is coming from the connector that secures the hoses to the left wall on the floor. I have no idea how to find how the water is getting there.

Could you please advice?

Thanks,
Yossi
