You have the right idea BUT it is 1K per gallon the tank you got it from holds. I had a Uncle that got in trouble after putting 5 gallons of farm diesel in a semi that had run out on the side of the road. When the guy came out to the farm to assess the fine he asked " So which SMALL tank did you get it out of? "
