Some questions after searching the archives on
w124 instrument cluster removal:
1) How many clips are there holding the fascia in place.
Are there 2? One at the top left and one at the top
2) Does the speedometer cable need to be disconnected
from the transmission?
3) I ordered the tool kit from Baum Tools for the
cluster removal. As such, do I still need to get my
hand behind the cluster to push it out?
Any other tips about removal appreciated. I'm chasing
down a rattle noise. Might as well replace the bulbs
while I'm in there.
