Some friends of mine driving cross country on biodiesel with their Scout

http://scitech.blogs.cnn.com/category/road-trip/

Pretty well documented trip. They both work @ CNN and Brian is a board member. Cody has been here to browse a few times as well. Cody's SD has like 65k on the clock and its all original. Was beautiful until he started driving it to work...... Still pretty nice looking car. He's had the hots for a Scout for a while and found one in WA. I believe CNN paid for the trip but not the car. Sweet trip either way.

Why does everyone keep comparing biodiesel to gasoline in that blog?

Repost. Probably the most clueless article on biodiesel - ever.

The trip is nothing amazing. Anyone can fill their tank with biodiesel and drive. The fact they both work at CNN is likely the only reason its getting any coverage.

Well, I just watched some of the video-blogs, and I must say it's not a very great "bio-diesel" trek...they should've just made it a road-trip documentary and bypassed the biodiesel aspect.

It still makes me miss my Scout.

Come to think of it, I think CNN should've given Turbobenz a handy-cam and a laptop and let him blog his trek...
Turbobenz and his cross country trek.....

It was pretty odd, CNN came up with the idea, he just fed the need. I'd love to be doing it and getting paid for it. I have driven cross country 2x. Once in my dads old mitsubishi pickup with a home made camper on the back and another time with my stepdads mercury topaz.
