Using reserve tank on 300td wagon for WVO?

Howdy,

I just recently purchased a 1980 300TD wagon and have been thinking about ways to convert it to run on WVO. I have been most interested in Single Tank Systems b/c of the ease and leaving the cargo room area free. Now, I know you can do a Singe Tank System pretty easily, but will only work on %100 WVO in temps above 60 degrees F.

I have been looking at the reserve tank behind the spare tire and think it might be a prime candidate for being my diesel tank for start-up and shut-down. I'm wondering if any of ya'll have heard of this being done.

I wanna eventually be able to run WVO in cold temps and realize that in order to do this I need to start-up on diesel to get the veggie hot to flow and also for shut-down. But, I don't want to add an extra tank that takes up space and heats up my cab. I've been thinking about adding a tank heater to my stock tank, also a heated inline hose, heated fuel filter, and fuel injector heaters. Do you ya'll think this will be the optimal set-up for wvo?
