Good riddance. A trend whore brought his single-tank into my shop after he broke his cam in 3 places.

There is so much wasted heat ( energy ) from cooling the engine with your coolant that you can take a hot bath 10 times over every day.:P |
The difference between the M and MW pump aside, aren't the NA cars older than the turbo cars?

I run B11-20 in the Benz sometimes, but I really don't like buying stuff that isn't labeled properly. |

Being in San Diego...perhaps you don't realize how cold it gets here! There is NO extra heat available with a 617 on the colder days. I drove 14 miles on the highway the other night, interior heat on high, it got pretty warm, but the engine temp only reached 80C....When I got home I checked the radiator....COLD. As in, the thermostat never had to open, all extra heat went into the car. Scary eh? In the real dead of winter when its like 15F or less out, you could probably just loop the coolant hoses and get rid of the radiator/fan altogether on a 617 and not have any issues. With a gasser they make a lot more waste heat....our 300E gets right up to temp in about 4-5 mins even on super cold days, and the radiator is warm even with a comfortable interior temp. Those wasteful gassers.... |
Heater core will about cool a 616 in the winter. Gotta block the rad or the tstat bypass to get proper operating temp below 0-5F

I guess Kris lost control of the stations? Is Kent Bullard's B99.9 co-op still alive and well? |

The sad part is the number of wvo modified cars that are on CL, most with busted IP's or other similar issues. Oh the fools that ruined good to great cars on a fad that they will never recoup the losses from. |

The condensation pix is indeed scary.
