Biodiesel is "combustible" (it will burn) but not "flammable" as fire departments define such things. You can try the same experiment I did: outdoors away from buildings and with a fire extinguisher handy, pour half a cup of pure biodiesel and set it ablaze. You will find that a propane torch is needed and you have to get the biodiesel hot before it will burn (since it is actually the vapor that burns). Once it finally cooks off it burns pretty good. OTOH, even pump diesel is safer than gasoline. Google "flash point" to see some interesting numbers.
