So I was on the last bit of fuel on my 83sd and I didn't want to run out. I added half a quart of transmission fluid (Honda type) half a quart of marvel mystery oil, and about 4 ounces of seafoam left over from my motorcycle carb work to the fuel tank.

The car started fine as there was still reg diesel in the lines. It drove completely normal for a few minutes, then out of the blue, the thing went to plaid. I was going up a steep hill and all the sudden I felt my stomach hit the differential and I was in the next county before I had time to realize what had happened.

When I had slowed enough to hit the gas it went right back to plaid.

Only lasted about 2 or three minutes, but it was awesome and I wanted to share.
