Repairing rust spots/holes under the doors
The seals under the doors in my car failed a while ago, and there are rust spots and a few holes on the underside of the door. I bought the POR 15 super starter kit to apply to the rust, but I'm not sure what to use to fill up the holes so water doesn't get inside the door. Would JB weld or something similar be a good filler to close the holes underneath the door, after the loose rust is scraped off, and the POR 15 is applied? New door panels without rust would be a permanent fix, I just want to stop the rust that's there.

Don't bother patching them, just think of them as additional drain holes.

Yeah, remember the drain holes are there to allow any excessive moisture and water to drain from the door at the bottom. Seal them and your doors will become water tanks!

and if you seal those holes on just one side of your car.....then your car will start leaning in that direction when the water tanks fill up.
Leave the holes open.
