Decided today was a good day to pull my battery tray to clean it up and check the sway bar mount. It sure was a good thing I did, there was about 2 inches of mud/debris on that area. I was actually pretty surprised since this area is pressure washed every time I was the car. At any rate, I grabbed thw garden hose and proceeded to flush all the gunk out, thankfully only minor surface rust :-). While the hose was running, I kept thinking 'where did those crazy germans put the drain hole' as it was turning into a nice swimming pool. Well I did find them and wanted to share their location with everyone else so you know where to look to unplug them. They are right under the false firewall near the spring tower and do plug quite easily making a great rust growing environment. Heres some pictures of these areas with water running out:

Wow, is that the original switchover valve? At least it is not the new style. That is the cleanest underhood area I have ever seen. Makes me want to go out to mine with a toothbrush. Are the rubber 3-ways new? If so, where did you find them?
