92 300 TE rust and rear side window removal
The leaks in my 300TE side windows have led to rusting of the lower window panel.
Leaking water has also been collecting in the seam where the rear wheel arch meets the side panel and the rusting from inside is bubbling the paint on the wheel arch lip.(which is where I noticed the problem). I need to remove the rear side windows and am having a devil of a time prying the rubber window seal over the body lip so I can pull the windows out from the bottom per the shop manual. Has anyone got some advice on: 1) Getting the window out? 2) Stopping the rust in the window opening? 3) Stopping the rust just starting in the wheel arch seam? I want to save the wagon if I can deal with this rusting. Thanks Jim

Jim, the existing window seal probably has hardened due to age. It's likely you will need to cut the seal in order to facilitate removal of the glass.
