How Many Coats of Paint

Does anyone know how many coats of paint the current MB's use? I know Lexus uses 3....mercedes used to detail the whole process in its brochures but I havent seen that since about 93. I think they had a round 12 coats back then

I don't know if number of coats is an issue. They probably coat just enough to get the color established and cover with clearcoat. Millage on a Benz is usually 4 to 5. One mill is about the thickness of a cellophane cover on a cigarette pack.
