Question Oven baking a new paint job

I sent my car in for the repaint and they said that it will be baked at a high temp for the paint to dry.

Is this high heat gonna damage things in any way? What about the interior?

Im worried!

If they turn the heat too high it could do some damage, but an experienced shop should have that under control. IMO the baking is not needed, as the curing is strictly a chemical link up of molecules that will happen no matter what. Without baking we can usually send a car out in 8 hours or so if we really need to, although I prefer to keep them overnite to let the process work. I have seen baking cause some real problems that would have not happened without it.
