The Ultimate Gauge Needle Paint?

Came across this fluorescent paint on eBay, which promises to glow-in-the-dark:

Would this be overkill to use on gauge needles, since I'll soon be repainting mine? Anyone have experience with this stuff?

By the way, have you guys since this 300CD, also on eBay:

All best,

Funny you should mention.

Since I re-lume watch dials and hands and have an assortment of lume colors, I did my MB clock hands in red.

Another board member here had me do his in blue (white in the light, blue in the dark.)

Here's pics:

BTW, the carp they sell on ebay and at hobby stores will flake off in no time. Not meant to be permanent.

If you want the stuff that will be VERY luminescent and last, buy the lume from a watch supply house, Frei & Borel or Casker.

BTW, if you want to try, I can send you a small vial that you can mix with a clear lacquer base and use on whatever. Ain't cheap though. This stuff is REALLY bright and lasts forever if not exposed to high humidity (just seal it well.)

My shift knob has the shift pattern and 1-4 luminescent too!
